Follow the steps below to create a looping slideshow that automatically displays each slide for a set duration before seamlessly transitioning to the next slide, and once the last slide is reached, it seamlessly restarts from the beginning.

Looping slideshow settings

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Click the Slide Show tab > Set Up group, click Set Up Slide Show.
  3. On the dialogue box,  under the Show options section > check Loop continuously until 'Esc' then click OK.
  4. From the Slides preview side panel, click your first slide > Press and hold [Shift] and click your last slide. This will select all of your slides.
  5. Click the Transitions tab > From the Timing group, uncheck On Mouse Click and check After.
  6. To adjust the time you would like each slide to display, click the up and down arrows in the After: field within the Timing group. When your slideshow reaches the last slide, it will automatically loop back to the beginning.
