Moving Documents Using Drag-and-Drop

  1. Open File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac):

    1. Navigate to the location of the documents you want to move.
  2. Open OneDrive Folder:

    1. Open a new File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) window.
    2. Navigate to your OneDrive folder, typically labeled “OneDrive” and located in your user profile.
  3. Select Documents:

    1. In the File Explorer or Finder window with your documents, select the files or folders you want to move.
    2. Hold down Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple items.
  4. Drag and Drop:

    1. Drag the selected documents or folders from the local file drive window.
    2. Drop them into the OneDrive folder window.

 

Uploading Documents via OneDrive Web Interface

  1. Open OneDrive using your web browser:

    1. Go to https://www.office.com/onedrive and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  2. Navigate to Target Folder:

    1. In OneDrive web interface, navigate to the folder where you want to upload your documents.
  3. Upload Files:

    1. Click the “Upload” button.
    2. Choose “Files” or “Folder” depending on what you are uploading.
    3. Select the documents or folder from your local file drive and start the upload.
