Overview
If you’ve forgotten your password, need to reset it, or have been locked out of your account, you can fix it in two ways:
- On the Office 365 Website: You can reset your password or unlock your account by going to portal.office.com. This option uses your email to verify who you are.
- On Your Windows Computer: If you're locked out of your computer, you can try to reset your password right from the login screen by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete. If that option doesn’t show up, or you’re still locked out, contact IT Helpdesk (https://servicedesk.smctd.com) for help.
Important: This applies only to your SamTrans login credentials (used for Windows, email, and Microsoft 365) and does not affect your PeopleSoft or other system passwords.
