Connecting to GlobalProtect VPN

Overview

This guide walks you through how to connect to the GlobalProtect VPN so you can securely access your work network from anywhere.

Open GlobalProtect:
- Click the Start Menu at the bottom of your screen.
- Type GlobalProtect and open the app.
- Alternatively, click the GlobalProtect icon in the taskbar or system tray (near the clock).

Enter the VPN Address (if needed):
- If the app asks for an address, type: connect.samtrans.com.
- Click Connect.
- The app should automatically sign you in.
Log In (if needed):
- Enter your @samtrans.com email address and password when prompted.
Approve Sign-In:
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
- Tap Approve when you see the message.
  (If the app gives you a code, type it into the login screen.)
Check the Connection:
- Look for the GlobalProtect icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
- It should say Connected.
