Overview

This guide walks you through how to connect to your new AVD Windows 11 Pool. No VPN is required for this connection. Follow the steps below to access your Windows 11 desktop.

Connect to AVD Windows 11

1. Open Your Browser:
   • Click the Start Menu on your computer.
   • Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
   • In the address bar, type:
     https://windows365.microsoft.com/ent#/devices
   • Press Enter.
2. Start the Connection Process:
   • Navigate to the Windows 11 section.
   • Click the Connect button.
     Note: Clicking “Connect” here initiates the process but does not immediately log you into the AVD.
3. Access the Sign-In Screen:
   • Click Connect again when prompted to proceed to the sign-in screen.
4. Log In:
   • Enter your @samtrans.com email address and password when prompted.
   • Click Sign in.
5. First-Time Login (If Applicable):
   • If this is your first time logging in, FSLogix will load your profile and Windows will prepare your desktop environment.
   • Please allow a few moments for the process to complete before your Windows 11 desktop appears.
