How to Add or Update your Profile Photo

Description/What is it?

You can add or change your profile photo in Microsoft 365 from Office.com, or while using Microsoft 365 
applications on your computer or in a browser on your phone. Your photo will appear everywhere there's a profile 
photo circle in Microsoft 365

Prerequisite:

Find a photo you want to use and store it on your computer, OneDrive, or other location you can get to. Photos must be:
• In Color
• Sized such that the head is between 2x 2 inches, Smaller than 4 MB and can be a .png, jpg, or .gif file
• Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance
• Taken in front of a plain or light background
• With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open
• Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.
• Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your photo.
• Sunglasses are not allowed
• Sceneries, animals, avatars, or symbols are not allowed

To add or update your profile photo

  1.  Find a photo you want to use and store it on your computer, OneDrive, or other location you can get to
  2.  Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your work or school account at office365.com
  3.  Select the circle in the upper right-hand corner of the page that shows your initials or an icon of a person.  Section of the header with the default photo image
  4.  In the My accounts pane, select the circle that shows your initials or an icon of a person. Change your photo in the pop-up that appears
