Do I need to do anything?

No. The update will install automatically on SamTrans computers. No action is required from you.


When will I receive the update?

The update is being rolled out gradually across the district, so not all users will receive it at the same time.

To help ensure your computer receives the update, please keep it powered on and connected to the internet.


Will I still be able to print and add printers?

Yes. You’ll continue to be able to:

  • Print to your existing printers
  • Add printers as needed through the printing portal

Your existing printers will remain available after the update.


Why am I being asked to sign in?

As part of this update, Single Sign-On (SSO) is being enabled to improve security and simplify access.

You’ll sign in using your SamTrans credentials, similar to other SamTrans systems. In most cases, you’ll only be asked to sign in once.


Why did a browser window open saying “Client Successfully Logged In”?

You may briefly see a browser window stating that the printing client has successfully logged in.

This is normal and means your computer is connecting to the printing system.

You can safely close the window. No action is required.


Why am I seeing a message that says the agent is already associated with another site?

You may see a message similar to:

“The agent is already associated with another site and cannot be altered automatically.”

This usually means your computer has not yet received the updated printing software.

Please allow some time for the update to complete and make sure your computer is connected to the internet. Once the update is finished, use the printing portal to add printers.

If the message continues or you’re unsure what to do, please contact IT for assistance.


Is Vasion Print a new system?

No. Vasion Print is the new name for PrinterLogic.

The printing system itself has not changed, and your printing experience remains the same.


Will this affect personal or USB-connected printers?

No. This update does not affect personal printers or printers connected directly to your computer via USB.


How do I sign in and add printers?

You can sign in and add printers through the printing portal using your SamTrans credentials.
