Logging in to the Shared Workstation
- Check if the Computer is On:
- If the computer is off, press the power button on the workstation to turn it on.
- Log In:
- Username: Enter your typically (Typically [LastName][FirstInitial]) (e.g., TrooperS).
- Password: Enter your secure password.
- Note: This password is different from your PeopleSoft password.
- Important: Do not share or write down your password.
Accessing Email
- Open Your Web Browser:
- Open a web browser (such as Chrome or Edge) on the workstation.
- Go to the Email Login Page:
- Log In:
- Enter your @samtrans.com email address and click Next.

- Enter your password (this should be the same password you use to log into your workstation) and click Sign In to access your email.

- You will be prompted to use the Microsoft Authenticator app for Two-Factor Authentication. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete this additional security step.
- Reset Password (if needed):
- If you forgot your password, click on the Forgot Password link on the login page and follow the reset instructions.
- Alternatively, you can contact IT for assistance at 650-508-7746 (Option 2).

- Go to the SamTrans Hub:

- Scroll down to Quick Links and click on the PeopleSoft HR and TIME & LABOR tile.

- Note: Your PeopleSoft password is different from the password you use for logging in to the shared workstation.
